Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC/Conventional Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Milling machines to produce precision parts. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in CNC programming, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. The Mill Operator will play a vital part in ensuring high-quality production standards and efficient manufacturing processes. I.D. (Internal Diameter) Grinding experience is considered an asset.

Duties

Set up and operate CNC milling machines, including Conventional Mill, ensuring accurate production according to specifications Program CNC machines using Mazak controls and CNC programming skills to optimize machining processes Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime

Requirements

Proven experience with CNC programming and operation, particularly with Mazak controls Strong mechanical knowledge related to machining, tooling, and equipment maintenance Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models Proficiency in basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations in machining processes Experience with machining tools such as calipers, hand tools, power tools, Prior experience working with CNC Mills and milling machines in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues efficiently Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
