CNC Mill Machinist - Day shift

######

We are currently hiring for a full-time CNC Mill Machinist for our manufacturing facility in Calgary, Alberta. A CNC Machinist produces machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a CNC machine, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

As a CNC Mill Operator, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

######

Programming and operating CNC machines

Selecting tooling and set up methods to produce parts in the most efficient manner

Reviewing and interpreting drawings to ensure all specifications are met

Modifying machine speed, tooling and cutting styles to ensure precision and accuracy of manufactured parts

Ensuring quality on all parts and enforcing the Fidelity quality standard ISO & AS9100

Troubleshooting and diagnosing common CNC problems

Use of various hand tools

Performing minor maintenance tasks and tool calibrations as needed

Following all health and safety regulations and controlled goods requirements

Qualifications

######

Minimum 3 years experience operating CNC machines

Journeyman, machinist trade certificate or equivalent experience required

Experience in Mastercam, Powermill, Solidworks or any other CAD/CAM software is considered an asset

Mandatory that this role take part in a criminal record check and controlled goods screening
