What You'll Do

Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathes &/or milling machines to produce high-precision components. Interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints. Perform inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, CMMs, etc.). Maintain quality control throughout the machining process. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot and improve processes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company and safety standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing setting. Proficiency with Mazak, or similar CNC control systems. Strong understanding of G-code, part setup, and precision measuring tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T. Experience working with tight tolerances and complex geometries. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Preferred Assets

Journeyman Machinist Certification (or equivalent). Familiarity with CAM software (e.g., GibbsCam, Mastercam). Forklift or overhead crane certification.
