Cnc Machinist
Job Description
Burloak Technologies Inc. is a leader in the additive manufacturing industry and provides engineering services for additive manufacturing, materials development, high precision CNC machining and metrology. Burloak works with the most innovative companies in the space, aerospace, automotive and industrial markets to rapidly transition their most challenging part designs to be additively manufactured at scale. We are now hiring a full time CNC machinist to work in our new state of the art Oakville facility. Successful candidate will work as part of a highly motivated team in an exciting environment using the latest machining technologies that is truly changing the future of manufacturing.
Requirements: * Understanding of CNC machine setup- tool setup- machine shop procedures
- Minimum 8 years experience in precision 3 and 5 axis CNC milling using Fanuc controllers
- Understanding of blueprint reading, precision measurement and GD&T is a must
- Minimum 5 years Mastercam programming experience
- Process planning experience is an asset
- Fixture design is an asset
- Machining additive parts is an asset
- College diploma or engineering degree is an asset
- Effective problem-solving and high level of time management and communication skills
- Self motivated and able to work independently or in a team
