CNC Machinist / Welding Operator

$21.43 to $23.86

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a router (making large,welded liners for the transportation industry)
• Use CNC equipment to cut, trim, slot, chamber, profile, shape material
• Pull up programs, make minor adjustments, install machine accessories like pins, cutting tools, templates, spoil boards, etc.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role, operating CNC equipment
• Ability to read blueprints/diagrams
• Proven ability to follow work instructions; maintain company standards and policies

• Mechanically inclined and able to operate handheld tools & measuring equipment
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and deadline
• Ability to work cohesively in a team-based environment
• Detail oriented with excellent time management skills and organizational skills
• Excellent computer and math skills
• Good visual/color vision and eye/hand coordination
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to safely operator forklift

Rate of Pay & Compensation

• Based on skills, abilities, experience, etc., the rate ranges from $21.43 to $23.86 per hour

Work Hours:

• Day & afternoon shift on a two-week rotation
• Day shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 2:30pm, Friday 6:30am - 2:30pm
• Afternoon shift: Monday - Thursday 2:30pmn - 11:00pm, Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm
