Job Description

We are a North American Leader in the Fabrication sectors with operations across Canada, and the USA. We are a fully-integrated supplier of manufacturing and engineering services providing steel components and complex, high value-added assemblies for the agricultural, construction, mining, energy, heavy truck and industrial sectors.
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and editing programs on CNC machines like Mori Seiki and OKK; as well as setting up all tooling for precision machining and precision check equipment.
The CNC Machinist will report directly to the Team Lead and/or Production Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up and edit programs on CNC machines based on supplied drawings.
• Communicate programs to CNC and perform test runs.
• Set up all tools for size control.
• Set up precision check equipment to check sizes.
• Performing spot checks on parts.
• Maintaining a clean and manageable work environment.
• Wear personal protective equipment as directed by the company.
• Follows and comply with all Operational Procedures and policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Quality and Environment programs (i.e. IATF, ISO 14001)
• Any other duties as may be assigned.

Experience:

• CNC Operating: 2 years (required)
• mastercam or G code structure: 2 years (required)
• Overhead Crane: 1 year (required)
