The Opportunity

CNC Machinist (Night shift)

With minimal supervision, programs, operates and maintains the set-ups of conventional and CNC machines and tools. Performs a variety of machining operations and modify / write CNC programs when required. Provides high level programing and machining support. Creates manufacturing process sheets and has extensive knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Reviews routing proofs for manufacturing process accuracy.

Your Challenge:

• Required familiarity and programming in Mazatrol and G-code.

• Manage upload/download of programs and assist in proving out programs.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose processes to eliminate variability.

• Manage machine and tooling set ups to independently complete first part.

• Maintain programs, process sheets and QC data sheets and participate in set-up reduction programs

• Manufactures and inspects detailed parts and tools from blueprints, sketches, drawings and verbal instructions using a variety of machining tools and equipment (mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other machining equipment)

• Reviews process, routing, and tooling documentation for accuracy

• Experience with machining a wide variety of materials (stainless steels & high nickel alloys, Stellite/Alloy 6, carbon steels, aluminum and bronze alloys)

Your Expertise:

Minimum education requirement: High School or equivalent

2+ years of experience working in a CNC Machinist Role.
