What your day to day will look like

You will set, operate and adjust a wide variety of numerical control machines-including lathes, grinding machines, milling machines, electrical discharge machines and laser machines-to machine new engine parts and repair used parts.

To accomplish these tasks, you will:

Work from drawings, standard work, sketches and verbal instructions from your supervisor or team leader
Perform dimensional and visual inspections of parts using precision measuring instruments such as jigs and CMMs
You will also support quality management, equipment maintenance and the smooth flow of materials by:

Keeping logbooks up to date
Performing simple deburring
Installing details such as sockets and nuts
Washing, storing, packaging and moving parts
You will demonstrate your commitment to excellence and help to create a world-class manufacturing environment by:

Ensuring that part standards and specifications are met
Organizing and keeping your workstation in order
Respecting our high standards regarding occupational health and safety
You will develop your abilities and work closely with colleagues to drive improvements in the work environment by:

Participating in practical training to improve your current skills and acquire new competencies
Sharing knowledge and best practices with other team members
Contributing to the development of new parts or procedures for selecting methods and tools
The tools you need to be successful

Requirements:

Vocational diploma (DEP) in machining techniques
Mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Proficiency in French (written and verbal)
Assets:

One to two years\' relevant experience
Knowledge of English
