Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and operation, with proficiency in using various machining tools and equipment. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to read blueprints, ensuring precision and quality in all machined parts.

Duties

Operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to produce high-quality components according to specifications. Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Utilize CAD software, such as SolidWorks, for design modifications and enhancements. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Perform quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Collaborate with team members in a lean manufacturing environment to improve processes and reduce waste. Assist in assembly tasks as needed, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment when required. Operate forklifts safely for material handling within the production area.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively. Proficiency in CNC programming, particularly with Fanuc systems. Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) for design purposes. Excellent blueprint reading skills with attention to detail in machining processes. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining operations. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques is advantageous. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus. Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
