We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Front Desk Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a healthcare clinic and be proficient with JaneApp (or similar electronic medical record/billing systems). This role involves managing patient bookings, coordinating schedules, processing direct billing, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, and by email.
Manage patient scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations through JaneApp.
Process billing and direct insurance submissions (ICBC, WSBC, extended health, MSP, etc.).
Maintain accurate patient records and handle confidential information with discretion.
Coordinate practitioner schedules and communicate effectively with the clinical team.
Assist with administrative tasks including filing, emails, and inventory tracking.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of front desk, medical office assistant, or customer service experience (clinic experience preferred).
Proficiency with JaneApp or similar scheduling/billing software is required.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages such as Mandarin or Cantonese an asset).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional, friendly, and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.85-$27.33 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
