Full Time Permanent - Compensation: $80,589 to $93,275 per annum plus benefits
BQWCHC, on behalf of our partners in Hastings Prince Edward Ontario Health Team (HPE OHT) is seeking a dynamic Clinic Coordinator to oversee a new Belleville Neighbourhood Clinic. This clinic will be affiliated with the Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre (BQWCHC) but will operate in a separate location with a new interprofessional team. It is anticipated that the clinic, consisting of 1-2 Nurse Practitioners, 1 - 2 Family Physicians, other health professionals, and administrative support, will be up and running in early 2026.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in getting this clinic running. At the outset, the Clinic Coordinator will be involved in start-up including hiring staff, developing processes, ordering equipment and setting up clinic infrastructure, as well as ongoing management of the Clinic.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Operations including
Coordinate development, implementation and refinement of clinical policies, procedures and processes
Budgeting, procurement and resource management
Ensure smooth operation of the clinic
Team scheduling
HR Management including
Recruiting, orientation and supervision of staff
Establishing and maintaining team engagement, coordination and communications systems
Quality Improvement & Risk Management including
Be an EMR 'super-user' to enable quality care and data collection
Identify and coordinate QI initiatives
Respond to provider and client feedback
Communication & Integration including
Act as a liaison with the HPE OHT
Facilitate program linkages and development of client care pathways.

Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or diploma in a relevant field
Significant recent work experience in health care delivery preferably in a primary care setting
Two (2) or more years of recent experience in a management role
Creativity, attention to detail, and good follow-through
Ability to work collaboratively and to promote a collaborative team culture
Experience in program development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation; change management
Demonstrated experience as a creative, solutions-focused, client-centered networker and leader
Comfortable and proficient with digital tools including MSOffice, EMR and the like.
