This is a full-time position for an experienced Client Relations Specialist.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Work experience as a receptionist or front desk staff strongly desirable
Expected to be technically proficient - able to schedule appointments, manage patient records, and client communications through our veterinary software
Coordinate with our veterinary team to ensure efficient patient flow
Strong communication skills - expected to greet and communicate with clients in a friendly and welcoming demeanor
Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive work culture
Strong organizational and time management skills
Assist in administrative tasks as needed
Preferable to have pre-existing knowledge of veterinary medical terminology, procedures, and protocols
Honours the confidentiality of patient and client information
A compassionate nature with the ability to empathize and interact effectively with clients and their pets
Social Media & Marketing
Proficient in posting and engaging on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram)
Comfortable creating fun, on-brand content that reflects AprilVets' tone and values
Bonus: experience with Google My Business, including posting content and replying to
comments/reviews
Access to and familiarity with Canva, using our brand templates and tools to design
engaging posts
Collaborate with the clinic team to capture moments that showcase our care, services, and
community involvement
