Osler is currently recruiting for a Client Experience Ambassador to join Osler\xe2\x80\x99s Hospitality Services group. The Client Experience Ambassador will play a key role providing optimum reception and switchboard services to the Firm which requires providing clients and visitors with a point of contact when they telephone or visit the Firm. The successful candidate will have the ability to lead and motivate and can develop long term relationships with clients and staff. The ideal candidate has to have the experience and "hustle" needed to handle situations in a smart and quick manner, have a great attitude, smile, and influence the rest of the team in a positive way. Major Responsibilities

  • Greeting clients/visitors in person, ensuring they are treated in an efficient and expedient manner, informing appropriate person of visitor arrival, and ensuring client needs are met by answering questions and ensuring the provision of requested services (e.g. photocopying)
  • Maintains Firm security by ensuring all visitors are properly checked in and provided with visitor tags. Notifies Firm or building security of inappropriate visitors
  • Answers all incoming telephone calls to the Firm\xe2\x80\x99s switchboard, properly directs phone calls, takes accurate messages, locates appropriate staff if messages are urgent, answers caller\xe2\x80\x99s inquiries, etc.
  • Updates the department\xe2\x80\x99s records pertaining to building orientation, Firm floor plans, internal telephone directory, and keeps all information on Firm personnel up to date by amending appropriate lists including floater schedules, vacation lists, termination files, etc.
  • Assists with any urgent requests for additional services to be provided to boardroom meetings
  • Performs other duties as required
Position Requirements Education and Experience The position requires a high school diploma as well as five years of experience working in a reception area for a business or professional services firm. A Community College Diploma in business administration or equivalent is an asset. Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge of a computerized switchboard console
  • Professionalism and customer-service skills required to deal with visitors and clients
  • Oral communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with a number of individuals
  • Problem solving skills required
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Proficient with computer applications such as MS Outlook, Calendar, Tasks and Word, searching internet/intranet
  • Database knowledge, e.g., access
  • Prior experience typing and filing
  • Maintains a current knowledge of relevant computer applications
