The Senior Manager, Reimbursement (1 year contract) will provide support and experience in insurance and drug coverage matters. You will be required to develop strategies to help assist customers regarding the reimbursement process

A typical day:

ul

li
Manage complex reimbursement cases, providing guidance for appeals and other escalations to insure patients receive medication on time
/li

li
Manage the reimbursement process for all areas and levels of reimbursement, ensuring that high service and quality standards are met
/li

li
Manage patient turnaround times to ensure that patients are starting drug therapies as quickly as possible
/li

li
Interact and manage important individuals within physician\'s office, hospital outpatient location, clinics and nurses
/li

li
Be a resource to team members providing training and education
/li

li
Provide information on relevant reimbursement topics related to our client\'s products
/li

li
Validating prior authorization requirements, reviewing appropriate billing and coding for drugs
/li

The successful candidate brings:

Must be available for the entire 1 year contract
/li

li
Minimum 5 years previous Reimbursement/Drug Coverage/Insurance experience or equivalent demonstrated experience (e.g., Specialty Pharmaceuticals)
/li

li
3+ years experience leading teams
/li

li
University degree or College diploma in a related field preferred
/li

li
Good understanding of financial assistance programs
/li

li
A team player with demonstrated ability to provide superior customer care
/li

li
Bilingual (French & English) an asset
/li
