This position\'s primary purpose is to provide advanced administrative and confidential support in the day-to-day operations of the Senior Director Public Health, Zonal Public Health Directors and Medical Officers of Health.The Clerk IV will be responsible for prioritizing work and schedules, drafting and typing correspondence/reports and other necessary documents. They will also be responsible for coordinating meetings, recording and transcribing minutes, and preparing and distributing agendas, minutes and other related information. The Clerk IV will prepare presentations as well as obtain information for the completion of a variety of reports and other documents. They will also organize and maintain a filing system. They will be responsible for interacting with other directors/managers, management support, clients/families, community-based organizations and the Department of Health and Community Services/other Government Departments as well as the general public. The Clerk IV will also provide confidential assistance to members of the Management Team of the Public Health Program, as necessary. Other related duties as required.Job Demands

Education
Completion of a recognized/approved three-year Business Management Program (HR Concentration preferred). Consideration will also be given to candidates having a two-year office administration program and considerable progressive experience.
Courses and proficiency in MS Office, Internet and various other computer applications are required.Experience
Minimum of three years\' experience within the last five in a progressively responsible administrative role is required.
