Overview

We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our dynamic warehouse and distribution team. This role involves operating various types of heavy equipment, managing shipping and receiving processes, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks. Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other machinery to load and unload materials. Manage order picking and ensure accurate fulfillment using warehouse management systems. Assist with shipping & receiving activities, including loading, unloading, and inventory management. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols. Load and unload materials efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Support warehouse distribution operations by coordinating with team members to meet daily targets. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related fields such as construction or heavy equipment operation. Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other heavy machinery. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order processing and inventory control. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures. Experience with order picker operations and load & unload tasks. Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse management. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
