What You'll Do:

Position Overview:

The Operation Specialist is responsible for safely operating a Reach Truck/Order Picker or Clamp Operator to perform responsibilities within the warehouse operations.

Position Responsibilities

Perform Reach /Order Picker or Clamp responsibilities Work closely with shift management and leads to accomplishing shift goals. Load, unload, pick, put-away, consolidate, stack and stage products and materials using both a Reach /Order Picker or Forklift or on hand Assists with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation. Reconcile inbounds with packing slips Familiar with handling tires Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED equivalent required Experience in logistics/ distribution center is asset Knowledgeable of RF systems in a logistics environment Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions Experience in leading a team is a plus Positive approach in all interactions Team orientated and self-motivated Ability to multi-task calmly and effectively in a rapidly changing environment Willingness to learn new systems as needed Work Environment
