As a Claim Advisor, Theft, Fire & Vandalism, you will investigate, assess and negotiate theft, fire & vandalism auto claims, primarily over the phone.
Accountabilities:
Review & investigate theft, fire & vandalism auto claims
Investigate the customer's loss, determine liability & applicable coverages and settle the claim per the policy
Collaborate with the customer, our service suppliers (i.e. towing, repair shops), other insurance companies and law enforcement
Qualifications:
Minimum high school education or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of auto claim adjusting experience is required
Superior Customer Service experience is required
Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy
Highly motivated and able to work well independently
Enrolled in, willing to enroll in, or completion of CIP designation
Bonus Qualifications:
Call centre experience is strongly preferred
Fluency in other languages is an asset
