Job description:
Our team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire Claim Advisor - Accident Benefits.
Reporting to the Manager, Casualty Claims, as Claim Advisor, Accident Benefits you will investigate, assess, and settle injury claims by telephone and/or written correspondence
Accountabilities:
  • Ensure superior customer service experience
  • Investigation and settlement of injury claims (first party).
  • Interpreting insurance policy wordings, determine policy coverages and reserves.
  • Ensure prompt and equitable settlement of claims.
  • Advise distribution partner on possible coverage opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum post-secondary education or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years as a claim advisor or similar role and/or have a medical background and experience working in a medical environment.
  • Enrolled in, or completion of, CIP designation.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy.
