We are looking for an experienced Civil/Structural Designer to join our client\'s team on a contract basis. They work within the EPCM scope and are looking to add a dynamic individual to their team. Within the EPCM scope they have executed over 1000 projects for various companies over the last 30 years.Advantages

Steel 3D software packages.
Develop 2D Civil Earthworks, Structural Steel and Reinforced Concrete design drawings.
Generate Civil/Structural Bill of materials.
Maintain manhour budgets and deliverable schedules.
Coordinate with all other disciplines.
Maintain resource plan schedule.
Review of drawings and designs for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Vendor and fabricator drawing reviews.
Participate in internal and external 30/60/90 model reviews.
Adherence to electronic filing system, folder structure and file management.
Regular meetings with the Civil Structural Design Lead to ensure all project requirements are being met.
Effectively communicate the status of tasks, design changes and continuous improvement items to the rest of the design team.
Maintain proficiency with the most up to date software.
Short duration site visits - infrequent, 1 to 3 days max.Qualifications
Engineering Technologist/Technician Diploma.
Candidate must have strong AutoCAD and 3D modelling experience.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Civil/Structural Design within a Consulting Engineering Environment.
Familiar working with Point Cloud Data.
Strong Technical Drafting Skills with Attention to Detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English are mandatory.
Position will be based at our Calgary, Alberta office.
Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.Summary
