Coast to Coast Experiences is the parent company of Gray Line Westcoast Sightseeing, Gray Line Niagara Falls/Buffalo, and Gray Line Seattle / City Sightseeing Seattle. Coast to Coast Experiences is a vertically integrated, tourism-focused business ready to change the industry through our vision of sustainability, social purpose, and creativity. We currently operate in Vancouver, Seattle, and Niagara Falls, with a desire to continue expansion through acquisition and new opportunities. We are working to be the first tourism-experience business operating with a fully electric fleet, and we need great people to help get us there. YOUR WORK We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) that can successfully support the business with investor relations, fundraising, effective risk management, and overall financial leadership and strategy. It is a very important and diverse role critical for the evolution and growth of our entrepreneurial-oriented business. You must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader since all relative departments of the organization will be under their command. YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE Drive the company’s financial planning Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities, operations, and financial objectives Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations Supervise all finance personnel including accounting managers and analysts Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system Ensure compliance with the law and the company’s policies WHAT WE WILL LIKE ABOUT YOU Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role In-depth knowledge and experience with fundraising, investor relations Experience and understanding of corporate financial law and risk management practices Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. NetSuite) A strong understanding of IT/IS systems and appreciation of its potential impact on the business CPA required. BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA a plus Ability to strategize and solve problems Strong leadership skills a necessity Outgoing personality, strong interpersonal, administration and communication skills You possess passion, integrity, and adaptability with a professional and positive attitude Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Experience in transportation, tourism and/or hospitality-related fields is desirable Experience in an entrepreneurial environment is a huge plus WHAT YOU WILL LIKE ABOUT US An experienced, driven, and supportive management team in a position to change the industry Room for development, growth, and experience in other markets Willingness to be different, try new things and create a better way
