The Manager, General Planning and Operations Systems leads the planning process for CMC's production and repair activities. He collaborates with business units and product leaders to optimize material planning and ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
As Manager, General Planning and Operations Systems, your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and execution of long-term planning strategies in line with business goals
  • Driving the S&OP process, working cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Finance to balance supply and demand
  • Overseeing tactical production planning based on customer demand, production capacity, and operational constraints
  • Proactively identifying potential risks and roadblocks to the plan and developing appropriate solutions
  • Managing inventory effectively to optimize stock levels, minimize shortages, and reduce overstock-related costs
  • Leading, supporting, and developing a team of 11 employees in accordance with the collective agreement, while maintaining a respectful and productive work environment
To excel in this role, you must have:
  • A bachelor's degree in operations and logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in planning and project management in an electronics manufacturing environment
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in managing unionized personnel
  • Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Fluency in both French and English
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
