Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with experience in fine dining and catering settings. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and presentation of our dishes while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities



Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Assist in menu planning and inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development. Manage food production processes efficiently, ensuring timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new dishes and improve existing offerings based on customer feedback. Monitor inventory control, minimizing waste while maximizing quality and efficiency in food handling. Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned regularly.

Experience



Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role within the food industry, preferably in fine dining or catering environments. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Experience in supervising or managing kitchen staff is highly desirable. Familiarity with dietary department practices is a plus, along with knowledge of food safety regulations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong leadership qualities that promote teamwork and collaboration among staff members. Previous experience in restaurant management or food service management is advantageous. Pay: $18.00-$26.38 per hour
