Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and service, ensuring that each dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management. Help train new kitchen staff as needed, sharing knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.

Pay: $19.20-$25.00 per hour
