JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Treetop Chef, the Chef de Partie plays a key leadership role in our culinary team at Treetop Tapas and Grill. This position is responsible for managing a designated kitchen station with precision, consistency, and care, ensuring that food quality, timing, and cleanliness meet our high standards. The Chef de Partie helps maintain an organized, efficient, and collaborative kitchen environment, providing guidance and support to the culinary team. RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage resources efficiently: Adhere to labor, food, and expense budgets without compromising the quality or consistency of dishes.
Team collaboration: Work closely with the Treetop Chef to coordinate kitchen operations and deliver a seamless dining experience.
Lead with positivity: Foster a supportive, cooperative, and motivated team environment that encourages growth and excellence.
Professional excellence: Maintain exceptional personal hygiene and a polished professional appearance to reflect the standard of a world-class dining experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in the English language
Three to five years' experience cooking and preparing food in an established restaurant or high-volume food service facility.
Leadership and communication skills
Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
High attention to detail, honesty, reliability, confidentiality, and fairness
Effective planning, organizational, and time management skills for seamless coordination of culinary operations.
Strong communication skills, and the capability of articulating and embodying the visions of cedars Restaurant and Lounge.
Red Seal Certification a strong asset
Ability to take direction and embrace feedback.
