We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that every meal is prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food items.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
