We are seeking a dedicated and passionate chef de partie to join our culinary team. As a CDP, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, ensuring that our guests receive high-quality meals that are prepared with care and attention to detail. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff on food handling and preparation techniques.
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
A passion for cooking and a desire to learn more about the food industry.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
