Tasks
Calculate load weights for aircraft compartments Plan load for aircraft Pre-flight documentation Relay messages to operations control and downline stations Maintain work records and logs Process bills of lading, cargo manifests or other documents Trace missing baggage and/or cargo shipments Weigh cargo items Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages Assign seats, prepare boarding passes and check baggage Assist clients/guests with special needs Attend boarding gates and assist pre-boarding passengers Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying) Help customers plan travel time and routes Make, cancel and change flight reservations Prepare and issue tickets and receipts Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments Provide customer service Work with minimal supervision
