Job Description

We are seeking a practical, hands-on individual to join our team as a Security Systems Installer. The successful candidate will be responsible for running cables, fishing wires, and mounting security devices. This role requires a willingness to learn and adapt to ever-changing technologies. You must be able to work independently as well as within a team, follow directions, multitask, and take pride in your work. All necessary training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

??Installation: Install security systems, including burglar alarms, card access systems, CCTV cameras, and networking equipment. This includes running cables, fishing wires through walls, and securely mounting devices. ??System Integration: Ensure all components are integrated and functioning correctly within the security system. This involves configuring software and hardware to work together seamlessly. ??Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Regularly inspect and maintain installed systems.
Quickly analyze and troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensuring minimal downtime for the client.

Responsibilities:

??Assist in running various types of wiring, including Cat 5E, Cat 6, Cat6A, Cat7, and Fibre ??Support with cable termination, testing, and troubleshooting ??Maintain basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in installations ??Follow instructions and safety protocols on job sites ??Support senior technicians with on-site and in-office tasks as needed ??Assist with the setup and installation of custom audio video systems, voice/data cabling, alarm, access control and as well as smart home automation systems. ??Ensure all systems are operating efficiently and maintain accurate records of installations and service visits. ??Follow all safety protocols and company standards during installations and repairs.
