We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including CCTV, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and computer networking. This role requires hands-on experience with electrical systems and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Low Voltage Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various low voltage systems in residential and commercial settings.
Duties
Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems including CCTV cameras and IDS.
Build and assemble electronic components using hand tools.
Detect and troubleshoot issues within existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
Work with computer hardware to integrate low voltage systems with existing networks.
Collaborate with team members to interpret blueprints and schematics for installation projects.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all installations.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and providing technical support as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Alarm System (DSC), CCTV, IDS, electrical systems, and computer networking.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics effectively.
Ability to work with hand tools and other equipment necessary for installation tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
