Job Summary

Innova Security Systems are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including security, surveillance, and networking . This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low voltage systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems including CCTV, IDS, alarm systems and install and terminate Cat5 cat6, fiber and coax cabling. Perform field service tasks to troubleshoot and resolve issues with security systems and related equipment. Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installations and repairs. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings for system design and installation. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions for security and telecommunication systems. Conduct regular inspections of installed systems to ensure optimal performance. Provide training to clients on system operation and maintenance. Document all service calls, installations, and repairs accurately. Maintain organized, clean, and safe job sites.

Experience

Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role in the field of security or telecommunications. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various hand tools and power tools. Experience in cabling for low voltage applications is essential. Background in construction or CCTV , Alarm Systems is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
