We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Catering Manager to lead our catering operations with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of catering services, ensuring the overall success of catered events. This positions will play a critical role in event execution, ensuring seamless service, exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high-quality standards in every aspect of production.
In addition to oversight , the Catering Manager is responsible for managing, training, and supporting catering staff to uphold service excellence. They foster a strong team environment, ensuring staff are well-prepared and aligns with the company standards to maximize customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Leads Front of House team event execution and team support
Enforces service standards and policies
Manages budgets and inventory
Drives efficiency with chefs and sales
Ensures readiness of spaces and equipment
Focuses on team morale and guest satisfaction
Leads event execution onsite and offsite based on Banquet Event Orders
Manages Front of House team staffing, scheduling and shifting support
Coordinates across departments, vendors and partners
Oversees inventory, floats and point of sale event reporting
Ensure catering equipment and logistics are ready
Maintains cleanliness across all event and storage areas
Enforces all food safety policies
Establish a safe and healthy working environment for employees
Conducting job safety analysis, first aid and documenting safety incident reports
Oversees Front of House team scheduling, vehicle logistics and payroll approvals
Manages point of sale setup, access, menu coding and sales reporting
Raises purchases orders and offsite equipment build lists
Develops and updates departmental policies and standard operating procedures
Reviews Banquet Event Orders, processes change logs and maintains weekly event summaries updated
Handles Front of House team hiring, onboarding, performance review and coaching
