We are searching for a dependable and experienced cook to join our team! Our kitchen is looking for someone who is detailed and can efficiently operate/multitask in a fast paced environment.
A successful cook is is able to follow instructions and be open to constructive criticism. Experience in using a variety of ingredients and different cooking techniques is a plus.
We want each plate to be prepared according to our recipe and specifications to ensure a consistent product and guest experience.
Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure consistent and smooth running of food production
Complete all assigned prep work
Ensure effective stock receipt and storage
Ensure that working areas are always kept clean
Assist other kitchen staff as need arises
Ensure that required standards are adhered to in the production and preparation of food - in quality, quantity and safety
Work towards exceeding customer's expectation by encouraging and promoting high level of service
Promote good team spirit regularly
Ensure all dishes are prepared according to specification and served at the correct quality, portion size, and temperature
Prepare substitute items
Ensure that the kitchen staff work harmoniously in order to ensure timely production of quality foods
Ensure proper arrangement and garnishing of food
Attend Off Site Events to help Plates, Garnish, Serve as required
Prep and beautifully Display appetizer, fruit, dessert, charcuterie etc platters
Report the need for maintenance to appropriate staff
Requirements
Proficient in English
Ability to stand on your feet for several hours
Ability to lift at least 25lbs
Experience working as a line or prep cook
Knowledge of various cooking methods (saute, grilling, baking, etc.)
Must comply with all sanitation procedures
Over the age of 25 with full G Class license
