Overview


As a Cash and Carry Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our procurement processes. You will lead the charge in sourcing high-quality products, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure that our supply chain operates seamlessly. Your expertise in procurement management and supply chain logistics will empower our organization to meet its operational goals while maintaining exceptional standards of quality and cost-effectiveness.

What you'll do



Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives and enhance operational efficiency. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing while ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations. Manage supplier relationships to foster collaboration, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement in quality management. Oversee materials management processes, including inventory control, production planning, and logistics coordination. Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to streamline procurement operations and enhance data accuracy. Conduct root cause analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process optimization within the supply chain. Lead category management initiatives to strategically source products that meet market demands while optimizing pricing structures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between procurement activities and manufacturing requirements.

Basic qualifications



Proven experience in procurement management or supply chain management, with a focus on cash and carry operations. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management. Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP and Oracle EBS, along with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) knowledge.

Preferred qualifications



Experience in sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management within a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with logistics processes and quality management principles. Understanding of pricing strategies and their impact on overall procurement effectiveness.
