Overview

As a

Global Sourcing and Procurement Manager

, you will play a critical role in expanding our grocery, restaurant supply, and cash and carry product portfolio. You will identify, source, and secure distribution rights for high-demand products from international suppliers, ensuring the best quality and competitive pricing. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate global supplier networks, negotiate favorable terms, and oversee the seamless delivery of products to support our business growth.

What You'll Do

Identify and evaluate overseas suppliers of grocery, restaurant, and cash and carry products, and secure exclusive or priority distribution rights. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply agreements with international suppliers while ensuring compliance with import/export regulations. Manage global supplier relationships to ensure consistent product quality, reliability, and timely delivery. Oversee the supply chain for imported products, including logistics, customs clearance, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Conduct market research to identify trending and high-demand products for the cash and carry and restaurant supply markets. Work closely with sales, operations, and category teams to align procurement with product assortment, promotions, and customer needs. Utilize ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS to track procurement, monitor supplier performance, and optimize inventory. Analyze sourcing strategies to identify cost savings, minimize risks, and ensure a competitive product offering.

Basic Qualifications

Proven experience in

international sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management

, ideally in grocery, foodservice, or cash and carry operations. Strong negotiation and contract management skills, especially with overseas suppliers. Knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping logistics. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS, with experience managing inventory and MRP processes.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience securing

exclusive distribution rights

or managing strategic supplier partnerships. Familiarity with food quality standards, labeling regulations, and supplier audits. Ability to identify emerging trends and products that align with customer demand. Strong analytical skills for cost optimization and supply chain efficiency.
