The Carpenters report to project managers and work within the construction division. This role offers an intermediate to advanced understanding of carpentry fundamentals in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Job Duties:
Will demonstrate skills in the safe operation of hand and power tools, including (but not limited to) ladders, table saws, routers and sanding equipment
Erecting and disassembly of scaffolding
Assists with demolition and debris disposal
Experienced in preparing material take-offs and reading blueprints
Set up and take down poly containment and drop sheets
Experience in the installation of insulation and vapor barrier
Experience in wood and steel stud framing application
Experience in finish carpentry skills including cutting and installing wood framing, trim, baseboard, casing, doors, frames, and sheathing
Secure exterior building materials (roofing and siding) when required
Build, erect, and secure temporary and permanent partitions using a variety of building materials
Will practice good housekeeping at all times to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite.

Qualifications Required
Valid driver's license
2+ years' experience in field
Construction / Restoration / Insurance experience preferred
Journeyman or working towards their journeyman certification is preferred
Criminal Record Check
Ability to complete work activities which may include physical labor, material handling and lifting (5-40 lbs), climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $17.00-$35.00 per hour
