Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Carpenters Helper to join our restoration team. The ideal candidate will assist skilled carpenters in various tasks, contributing to the successful completion of projects. This role involves supporting carpentry work, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
Duties:
- Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
- Help with heavy lifting and moving materials to job sites as needed.
- Support the restoration of existing structures by performing tasks such as sanding, painting, and finishing.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various carpentry tasks including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
Skills & Requirements:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with restoration techniques
- Competence in using hand tools specific to carpentry tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid drivers license is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
