Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Carpenter Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist skilled carpenters in various construction and renovation projects. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the installation of cabinets, drywall, and other structures while ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry field and develop their skills in a supportive environment.

Duties

Assist carpenters with the installation of cabinets, drywall, and other building materials. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements. Help assemble and install various structures, including roofs and cabinetry. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry. Basic understanding of schematics and blueprints is preferred. Experience in cabinet installation or similar carpentry tasks is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Previous experience as a maintenance person or in a related field is advantageous but not required. Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced carpenters.
