We are currently recruiting for Journeyperson and Apprentice Carpenters to join the team currently constructing various projects throughout Saskatoon.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build forms for concrete
- Constructs and forms chutes for pouring concrete
- Working from blueprints instructions from supervisors does layout-measuring, marking and arranging of various construction materials
- Cut, shape and join
- Checks accuracy of works and makes adjustments as required
- Studies blueprints for work planning
- Informs immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures
Education/Experience:
- Registered apprentice Or an equivalent combination of experience, training and education
- Confined Space (required)
- Fall Arrest (preferred)
- Telehandler (required)
