We're currently looking for a

Carpenter Helper

to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in a job well done, and wants to learn from experienced carpenters in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Position Summary

As a Carpenter Helper, you'll assist our carpenters and project teams on various commercial and institutional projects throughout the Fredericton area. Your work will range from demolition and cleanup to helping with framing, drywall, and finishing tasks. You'll play an important role in keeping projects moving safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and installing materials such as lumber, steel studs, drywall, and finishes Help install doors, frames, T-Bar ceilings, cabinetry, and furnishings Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and general labour tasks Operate vehicles and trailers for deliveries and material pickups Prepare job sites by shovelling, organizing materials, and setting up work areas Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow company safety policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Valid

Class 5 driver's license

Reliable transportation to and from job sites Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Capable of lifting heavy materials and performing physically demanding work Positive attitude and commitment to safety
