Position Summary:

The Director, Digital Marketing Operations is responsible for overseeing both marketing automation and digital operations functions, and leads a team of web developers, marketing automation technologists, and marketing data analysts to ensure a digital experience across all PointClickCare web properties and marketing technologies. This leader will have astute technical prowess across the most utilized digital strategies and tech, complemented by \'relentless\' curiosity, pursuit of innovation, and excellent communication and collaboration skills to help us to drive scale and optimization in our tech stack.

The ideal candidate has worked across Product led growth (SaaS is preferable) and traditional B2B demand generation. Is a leader who has built, integrated, and maintained a roadmap inclusive of a wide range of different marketing technology platforms as a cohesive ecosystem (inclusive of data integrations and workflows), and has a strong program management background. You will lead and grow our marketing technology and digital data insights team and drive innovation and optimization through processes and marketing technology, in concert with internal systems and key business integrations. This role is a great opportunity for a strategic, technology, and data-driven leader who is comfortable in a fast-paced and fast-growth environment where cross-team collaboration and communication is mission critical. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership and oversight of marketing automation and digital operations functions
  • Develop, own, and execute the longer term MarTech strategy to support overall business goals; leading discovery and prioritization by closely partnering with cross functional teams on developing program plans.
  • Ownership and management of a significant portion of the marketing technology stack, managing a budget of ~ $1.5M, and roadmap, tools, and relevant integrations, including WordPress, Salesforce CRM, Interaction Studio, Marketo and Hubspot.
  • Partner with VP, IT Security to recommend and oversee tactics to ensure compliance with data privacy policy and understand the relevant MarTech affected, proactively address security, hacking, spoofing and look-a-like domain threats.
  • Working with the OCIO and IT Security, ensure website is meeting customer SLA\'s for uptime
  • Leads the planning, development, execution and optimization of all PointClickCare websites, ensuring accurate content and elegant, customer-focused journeys
  • Create and manage agile best practices in website development, deployment, testing, and maintenance
  • Responsible for oversight of external agency partners, evaluating effectiveness, and determining when to increase or decrease agency support and spend to support business outcomes
  • Define success metrics and implement analytics and reporting methods to measure and communicate success; continuously evaluate, recommend and drive appropriate actions related to web capabilities and presence, marketing alliances, and strategic partnerships
  • Evaluate digital marketing efforts data analytics, insights, and recommendations to optimize marketing results (impressions, CTRs, leads, opportunities, wins, etc) across channels
  • Develop and enforce data standards and structure across a variety of marketing tools and databases, including building and maintaining account hierarchies and developing best practices.
  • Analyze and advise on database issues, data clean-up efforts, and work cross-functionally to achieve overall business database objectives.
  • Partner closely with marketing functions, including Production Operations, Demand Generation, Communication & Brand, as well as Portfolio Marketing, in addition to business units.
  • Partner with Management, Sales Leadership and Enablement to continually improve the lead flow process, and ensure optimal flow through the lead lifecycle, ensuring the metrics we track are meaningful to driving the pipeline and result in bookings and revenue growth
  • Serve as an subject matter expert on digital marketing and trusted partner to the VP of Marketing Experience and MLT to ensure that the marketing team is operating efficiently and executing with agility in support of aligned goals and strategies
  • Audit our technology and processes regularly, ensuring they are highly scalable & support growth
  • Ensure our marketing technology stack is utilized effectively, making recommendations for augmentation, integration, or retirement of specific applications to maximize efficiency and investment
  • Stay up to date with marketing technologies, vendors, and best practices
  • Identify when market and business conditions signal new talent capabilities are warranted in the team
  • Lead and develop the talent within a cross functional marketing technology & operations team
  • Ruthlessly prioritize work to be done, maintaining a backlog of important but less urgent tasks and projects
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, privacy, and legal requirements
  • Ensure project outcomes meet strategic and tactical objectives
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage expectations
Who you are OR What you\'ll bring:
  • You are a LEADER with management skills, a proven track record for motivating and coaching a team. Excellent people skills especially working to align teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • 10+ years of B2B marketing leadership experience with specialization in marketing technology and operations at high-growth companies
  • Experience managing large scale CRM platforms (
100M) * Ability to lead and grow a team in a highly matrixed organization and work cross-functionally across marketing, sales, data science, web, IT, and engineering
  • Deep understanding of the marketing technology landscape, including MarTech, AdTech, and WebTech. Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM, CMS, CDP, web, analytical tools, and ad technology for search, social, and display advertising
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and drive and influence business growth
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience managing large-scale digital marketing teams in both brand and direct response media.
  • Experience is concentrated in B2B environments, SaaS preferable, but not required
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, technology or equivalent. MBA or MS preferred
