Responsibilities

Decorate cakes using various techniques, including piping, fondant application, and airbrushing. Collaborate with customers to understand their cake design preferences and requirements. Prepare cake batter, fillings, and frostings according to recipes while ensuring high-quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Package finished cakes for delivery or display in the bakery. Assist in inventory management of baking supplies and ingredients. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cake decorating, with a portfolio showcasing your work preferred. Background in the food industry, particularly in restaurant or bakery settings. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and baking processes. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations. Previous kitchen experience is highly desirable, including cooking and packaging skills.
