Responsibilities:
- Bake and Decorate cakes and cupcakes according to customer requests and specifications
- Use various tools and techniques to create visually appealing cake designs
- Ensure cakes are finished in a timely manner and meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with the bakery team to ensure efficient production and customer satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with cake selection and answering any questions they may have
Experience:
- Previous experience in cake decorating or a related field is must
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Skills:
- Proficiency in cake decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and buttercream
- Familiarity with different types of cake designs and trends
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques specific to the baking industry
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
