Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for decorating cakes with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for creating beautiful and delicious cakes that meet our customers' specifications while adhering to food safety standards. Your artistic skills and attention to detail will play a crucial role in enhancing our bakery's reputation.

Responsibilities

Decorate cakes using various techniques, including piping, fondant application, and airbrushing. Collaborate with customers to understand their cake design preferences and requirements. Prepare fillings, and frostings according to established recipes. Ensure all cakes are presented beautifully and packaged appropriately for delivery or pickup. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, following food safety protocols. Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies and placing orders as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Stay updated on industry trends and new decorating techniques to continually enhance skills.

Experience

Must have 1-2 years of experience with fondant covered cakes and toppers. Proven experience in cake decorating within a bakery or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and baking techniques. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Previous experience in customer service within the food industry is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards. We are looking for both Brampton and Mississauga location.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
