We're seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled individual to manage project flow and ensure that every job moves smoothly from design to installation.
Position Summary
The Cabinetry Engineer & Scheduler plays a key role in both the technical and operational side of our business. This person prepares detailed shop drawings, cut lists, and CNC programs while also managing project timelines, coordination, and communication between teams. The ideal candidate is equal parts

organizer
-- someone who understands how cabinets are built and how to keep production moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Drafting
Prepare detailed and accurate
shop drawings, cut lists, hardware lists, and CNC programs
using AutoCAD and Mozaik.
Engineer custom
architectural millwork, casework, and cabinetry
for commercial, institutional, and residential projects.
Interpret and develop drawings from architectural and design specifications, ensuring precision and buildability.
Collaborate with project manager, and production teams to ensure efficient fabrication and installation.
Provide technical support and problem-solving for production teams and installers.
Apply
value engineering
principles to optimize materials and construction methods.
Scheduling & Coordination
Create and maintain detailed
production schedules
, coordinating design, machining, assembly, finishing, and installation timelines.
Communicate proactively with designers, cabinetmakers, finishers, and installers to ensure progress and resolve conflicts.
Track project milestones, identify potential delays, and recommend solutions.
Maintain up-to-date records of project status and timelines.
Participate in weekly production meetings and provide scheduling and engineering updates.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in
architectural millwork or cabinetry engineering
(commercial or institutional experience preferred).
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
,
Mozaik
, and related CAD tools.
Strong understanding of
woodworking construction methods
, hardware, and materials.
Excellent
time management
,
organization
, and
communication
skills.
Experience with production scheduling or coordination in a manufacturing or construction environment is an asset.
Diploma or degree in
Architectural Technology

Engineering
, or a related field preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
