Bylaw Compliance Officer

The City of Revelstoke is seeking a professional and community-minded Bylaw Compliance Officer to support the enforcement of municipal bylaws and regulations. This position plays an important role in maintaining community standards through education, investigation, and enforcement while ensuring interactions with the public are handled with tact and professionalism.

In this role, you'll respond to complaints, conduct inspections and investigations, and enforce bylaws related to property use, parking, animal control, and public safety. You'll also be responsible for the care and handling of impounded animals, maintaining pound facilities, and preparing reports and evidence that may be presented in court. Regular collaboration with the RCMP, Conservation Officers, and community agencies is also part of the role.
