We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Butchery Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities

Assist in the butchering and cutting of various types of meat, ensuring precision and quality. Support food preparation tasks, including marinating, seasoning, and packaging meat products. Maintain strict adherence to food safety guidelines and hygiene standards throughout all processes. Handle food products with care, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are followed. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and assisting customers with their meat selections. Keep the work area clean and organized, including regular cleaning of tools and equipment used in the butchery process. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in roles related to food preparation or butchery. Knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food handling practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a sanitary work environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients. Previous kitchen experience is an asset, showcasing an understanding of kitchen operations and teamwork. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
