Job Overview

We are seeking a hardworking individual with reliable transportation for the position of carpenter's assistant/labourer. This role requires a strong work ethic and an interest in learning/expanding your construction and carpentry knowledge. Successful candidate will be joining our growing team who prides themselves in executing projects efficiently while ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced team members as directed in daily tasks raging from framing to finish work Complete material handling and organizing Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks (Training will be provided as needed) Perform heavy lifting as necessary to support construction activities Collaborate with team members on projects Ensure compliance with safety standards on construction sites

Experience

Candidates will gain knowledge in the following areas. Previous experience is an asset.

Frame carpentry Trim carpentry Construction site experience Roofing Heavy lifting capabilities Door installation Metal stud framing
