If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Business Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting operations and the realization of our strategic plan, providing communications, and ensuring ongoing compliance. This position is responsible for building and facilitating processes to optimize the delivery of Registries products and services, including conducting analysis of daily operations, making recommendations for improvements, and providing valuable assistance in implementing enhanced business processes to benefit our members.

WHAT YOU\'LL DO
  • Reporting to the Manager, Registries Business Operations, you\xe2\x80\x99ll support AMA\xe2\x80\x99s strategies and plans by providing support and insights to operations, supporting business development, and ensuring compliance within the Registries industry.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Registries policies and procedures, providing guidance to the management team and agents.
  • Support center operations by addressing policy inquiries, conducting audits, and resolving operational concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and communicate changes to employees.
  • Write and disseminate communications to centers regarding operational news and updates.
  • Assist in the implementation of new products and services and support business development initiatives.
  • Maintain optimal functionality of technology systems and applications related to Registry services.
  • Review and update training modules and act as a backup trainer for in-person and virtual classrooms.
WHAT YOU\'VE DONE
  • Possessing a post-secondary degree in Business, or other relevant field is an asset and/or equivalent experience.
  • You have comprehensive frontline experience in Registries operations, with the ability to use this knowledge to train and provide development to the registries business unit.
  • You have a clean Police Information Check (PIC).
  • Required Licensing/Certification:
  • Alberta Health Care Information Plan certification
  • Alberta Organ and Tissue Donor Registry certification
  • Basic Registries certification
  • Commissioner for Oaths
  • Corporate Registry certification for levels 1 or higher
  • Alberta Personal Property Registry certification (APPRES)
