We are searching for a BUSINESS MANAGER to join our PARKLAND AT THE GARDENS based in HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA.

About the Opportunity
  • Ensures accuracy of Resident information and documentation within YARDI Senior Living platforms
  • Ensures resident movement is accurately reflected within YARDI Senior Living Platforms \xc2\xb7
  • Ensures resident month end billing processes are adhered to in accordance to all policies, brand standards, and applicable legislation \xc2\xb7
  • Responsible for ancillary charge audit to ensure accurate and complete resident billing\xc2\xb7
  • Provides education to residents on to support inquiries into resident billing process \xc2\xb7 Provides education to residents on available ancillary services
  • Provides leadership and oversight to all operational elements of the Front Desk Attendant role to ensure compliance to brand standards, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation. \xc2\xb7
  • Supervises, directs, and evaluates the work of the Front Desk Attendant. \xc2\xb7
  • Ensures new team members are orientated and trained on all departmental standards.
About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping setting
  • Minimum 2 years experience in scheduling, and payroll processes
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in people leadership within the customer service industry
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer service setting
  • A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
Experience considered an asset:
  • Experience in Hospitality, Retirement Living, Long Term Care setting
  • Experience using YARDI
